Honda rider was dissatisfied by the balance of his motorcycle. He reported a problem by the back of and the front of the bike, so the losing valuable time.
"We're a little trouble. We are not satisfied with the bike, the rear is not bad and the front do not have enough traction," he complained at the Autosport.
Even so, Stoner could still Foto Syur ABG Pembalap be a little relieved because it could end the qualifying session in third position. He now hopes to find a solution to the race on Sunday (14/08/2011).
"In the end because we could be in the front row, a pretty good starting position for tomorrow, we were quite pleased. We knew the race would run long and we still have time tomorrow," Stoner said.
In the qualifying session, Foto Syur ABG Pembalap Stoner recorded the third best time behind Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha and Dani Pedrosa, Repsol Honda's colleagues at, who won the pole.
